Whole wheat banana pancakes

Hi healthy eaters !
We encourage you to take a few minutes of break and focus on yourself. Think about what you love, what you enjoy most, what your aspirations are, what you would like to change and most importantly if you take care of yourself properly. We all are influenced by the communities we live in to look, eat and behave in particular ways. Teenagers are those who are like sponges, because they absorb every little thing they are said, regardless how harmful or dangerous it may be. Wholesome girls are aware of the fact that it’s pretty tough to protect yourself against violence, criticism and bad-tempered people, but we should endeavour to stay strong no matter what and  find the joy on daily basis. And that’s what we did recently, we cooked. Who doesn’t like pancakes, who ? Are there such people on the planet ? We also can have fun in the kitchen while preparing delightful meals. These golden brown flapjacks are simple to make and tasty as heck. They are must-try of ours. So have your cake and eat it !

Wholesome cooking!

Serves 3

Ingredients
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1 banana
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
spill of vanilla extract or 1/4 tsp vanilla bean

Instructions
Put flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Mix everything very carefully. In other bowl or in a plate mash the banana. Then add egg and mix with banana with fork. Add milk to the mixture and toss to combine. Add banana mixture to dry ingredients. Mix precisely.
Set a non-stick pan over medium heat until hot. Place two table spoons of mixture per one pancake on a pan. Cook until one side of a pancake golden brown and flip the pancake.

Cherry topping and banana-pomegranate bomb:
1/2 cup frozen cherries
1/2 apple
1/4 pomegranate
1 tsp butter
1/2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Put cherries in hot water and leave for a few minutes. Slice apple (you do not have to peel it) and put on pre-heated pan filled with butter, honey and cinnamon. Cook until tender and add pomegranate. Cook for about 1-2 minutes. Done!
