The biggest Food Festival in Łódź has already ended, but we can still feel the atmosphere of it. As co-orgazniers, we spent there around 10 hours each day patrolling everything and everyone and could barely feel our feet.. but it was worth it! Amazing people, great food and tons of epic fun! Największy festiwal związany z jedzeniem już dobiegł końca, jednak my wciąż czujemy jego atmosferę. jako współorganizatorki, spędziłyśmy tam co najmniej 10 godzin każdego dnia, patrolując wszystko i wszystkich i ledwo odczuwałyśmy własne stopy... ale było warto. Mango nana icecream

The beauty lies underfoot of minimalism. Some people say the less the better, the smaller the cuter, and that enough is as good as a feast... Moreover, it's also well-known that the less you stress the healthier you are, and the less you care the happier you become or that the less worries you have the bigger smile appears on your face. Certainly, we would agree with all of the statements mentioned above, however, we do believe that there are many exceptions as well. And that is because, the greater knowledge you have the wiser you are or the more you exercise the fitter you become, and so on and so forth. The point is that we may delight both the great and the little amount of something. Just look at the photo and the recipe of our Mango Nana Icecream...

  Piękno leży u stóp minimalizmu. Niektórzy ludzie mówią, że mniej znaczy więcej, małe jest piękne oraz 'co za dużo, to niezdrowo'... Co więcej, każdy z nas dobrze wie, iż im mniej stresu tym jesteśmy zdrowsi, im mniej się przejmujemy tym stajemy się szczęśliwsi, a także im mniej zmartwień mamy tym więcej się uśmiechamy. Z pewnością, zgodziłybyśmy się ze wszystkimi wymienionymi wyrażeniami powyżej, jednakże, również wierzymy, że występują ustępstwa od reguły. A to dlatego, iż im większą posiadasz wiedzę, tym jesteś mądrzejszy oraz im więcej uprawiasz sportu tym szczuplejszym się stajesz, itp. W każdym razie chodzi o to, że możemy się delektować zarówno małą, ja i dużą ilością czegoś. Spójrz chociażby na zdjęcie, które zamieszczamy razem z tym wpisem; jest to przepis na Mango Nana Icecream...

As we previously mentioned, we have decided to write posts in two languages, so that it would be easier for the polish part of our viewers to get through our recipes. We came up with an idea to kind of celebrate this new step of ours into making our website maybe even more interesting or just more encouraging for those, who speak only in polish, by showing you a recipe for Salty Chocolate Cookies. So if you're fed up with sugary and hideously sweet snack, then you're in the right place to get some recipes for healthy snacks, just like the one presented below. Don't get us wrong, these cookies are also sweet, but at the same time a little bit salty, which means that they're nor oversweented or too salty. Basically, you can form any figure or shape of the dough as you wish, remember that taste matters even more than appearance. So if you're curious to find out how they can taste like and if you may delight these cookies as much as we have, then go ahead! Grab the ingedients, find some time and most importantly start cooking!


Jak już wcześniej wspomniałyśmy, zadecydowałyśmy, że nasze kolejne posty będą zamieszczane w dwóch językach, aby ułatwić naszych polskim odbiorcom dostęp do naszych przepisów. Wpadłysmy również na pomysł, by w jakiś sposób uczcić ten nasz nowy krok względem bloga i sprawić, aby był on jeszcze bardziej interesujący lub po prostu bardziej zachęcający dla tych, którzy posługują się jedynie polskim językiem. Z tego właśnie tytuły, przygotowałyśmy Salty Chocolate Cookies, czyli słone ciasteczka czekoladowe. Zatem jeśli jesteście już zmęczeni okropnie słodkimi, z dużą ilością zbędnego cukru przekąskami, wtedy jesteście w odpowiednim miejscu, by zdobyć przepisy na zdrowe przekąski, tak jak te zaprezentowane na zdjęciu poniżej. Nie zrozumcie nas źle, te ciasteczka są zarówno słodkie, jak i słone w tym samym czasie, co oznacza, że nie są ani przesłodzone ani przesolone. Jeśli chodzi o ich kształt, to możecie pobawić ciastem i formować je na różne sposoby, gdyż najważniejszy jest smak. Dlatego też, jeśli jesteście zaciekawieni, jak one smakują i, czy będziecie się nimi delektować tak samo. jak my, wtedy nie wahajcie się i spróbujcie sami! Zgarnij potrzebne składniki, znajdź chwilkę czasu i co najważniejsze zacznij je przygotowywać!

We've come up with an idea of late that it would be great and probably more, let's say, comfortable and convenient for the polish viewers of ours, to read recipes also in our mother tongue. Because of the fact that we both are polish and most our readers are people living in Poland, so we decided to make it easier for them as well and write in two languages, so that it can be more regional, however, still international. What is more, we would really appreciate if you guys could tell us whether you find it useful or it does not bother you that much - it's mostly directed to polish viewers. Obviously, it will take much more time than usually to prepare posts for you, but it's just a matter of a few words written in a different language, so it's not a big deal, though. Nevertheless, we would love to know your opinion, before we take such actions. So please guys, leave a comment saying whether you need it or not.

Owing to the fact that we've got the season filled with summer fruit, we've decided to make use of them this time as well. As you already know how great pancakes lovers we are, there's no denying that in  today's post we've got something similar to it, but obviously special in its way. So let's say a few words about strawberries this time, as they're included in our meal for today. Well, as probably most of you know, strawberries are most familiar for those living in Europe, however, nowadays even plantations of these berries have moved to different regions in the world. What is more, they include tons of nutrients, which help you maintain the proper level of some minerals and vitamins. Strawberries are low in calories and fats, because it's estimated that per 100g there are around 32 cal. Additionally, because of the fact that they involve high amounts of certain chemicals, these berries may have potential health benefits against ageing, cancer, inflammation and also neurological diseases. Fresh berries are a great source of vitamin C, but also rich in B-complex group of vitamins, such as vitamin B-6, niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid and folic acid. But the list does not end here! They're filled with other vitamins and minerals as well, like vitamin A or E, potassium, manganese and iron. All three minerals play a vital role in you organism, because for instance potassium helps controlling heart rate and blood pressure. When it comes to iron, it's required for red blood cell formation. But remember, these are just basic information for you to apprehend, there are many more health benefits, which we can gain by eating strawberries. So have fun in kitchen this time as well and create something beautiful with them.

Street Food Festival #2

Hi healthy eaters! 
This past weekend we had a lot of fun joining the crew of Łódź Street Food Festival and helping them with the event. If you don't know what that is, it's a huge event in our hometown, where food exhibitors gather in one place and encourage the participants to come over and buy their products. Obviously, almost every single spot had something variant, which made the SFF so awesome, because you could try and taste lots of products of different kinds. From traditional burgers, dumplings, cheese, Belgian fries, cakes and cookies to eco products, hummus, falafel, natural juices and vegan burgers as well. Moreover, it was incredible to be able to see how it works and looks like from the other side as an arranger. We met so many amazing personalities and shared tons of thoughts on many aspects of not only food stuff, but also life in general. Each of the food exhibitors was different and has so much to say  and talk about. Additionally, we felt like we've been friends with the main arrangers since the unknown time, while we'd met them two days before the actual event. 

We spent there 10 hours in general, which may seem a lot on one hand, however, on the other hand it was not enough to get to know each food exhibitor better. What is more, if you're surrounded with people, who share the same passion as you do, then there's never too much time you can spend together. That's how passion gets human beings closer to one another! 

We would love to share some beautiful moments of that time with you guys, so here are some of the photos we took. Nevertheless, remember to KEEP CALM AND COOK!

Strawberry nana ice cream

Have you ever wondered how many pros we can gain from food ? We know, we know that we've been talking about it since the unknown number of months, but we would love to stress that is so true. In order to maintain the adequate levels of certain nutrients, we have to feed ourselves in a healthy way. And it does not matter whether it's summer or winter, or something in between, because we should take care of our body exactly the same in every season of a year. Actually when it comes to summer, you're more prone to having worse eating habits, just because there are many cold products, which can cool the temperature of your body and make you feel heaps better, especially when it's hot outside. We grab freezing bottle of water or some chemically sweeten juice or simply ice creams. But remember, nothing is better than homemade meal. So if you want to lower the heat of your body during these hot days, you should definitely try our NANA ICE CREAM, which are the healthiest ice creams we have ever found out. Summer Lemonade

Hi healthy eaters! 
We bet you know how important is the idea to stay hydrated, especially during hot and sultrily days. Here in Poland we had a week of high - temperatured days and even nights, when we could barely feel the fresh air we were breathing in. We both bought tickets for Open'er Festival, which took place in Gdynia last week (July 1-4) and it was just incredibly amazing. Those people, those emotions, those tears of excitement, all combined together gave us this feeling that that's the way how to create our own story and memories. It was just flawless to be able to dance with others to the songs we enjoy and scream out loud every single line of lyrics and get free in every possible way. Nonetheless, we all should remember to keep our diet properly and feed ourselves with all important and valuable nutrients and minerals. Also don't forget to drink water in great amounts, because you should keep your body hydrated especially while being super active. That is why we have something to drink this time to show you, a great way to make your drink even better. It's obvious that not every single human being likes to drink water, so why not make water even more attractive! Raw date bites.

Hi healthy eaters!
Let's admit all that it's finally summer and vacation time! We don't know about you, but we usually plan what we want to do and accomplish during this break and sometimes our lists are overdone, which leaves us with the disappointment. Nevertheless, we try our best to make each holidays even better than the last one. Basically, we hate losing time and wasting it, so instead we prefer to make some plans in order to do everything we wish during the summer time. Unfortunately, we cannot foresee the future and there are moments when we need to change plans and do something else instead. But it's natural, usual and not a big deal, because everyone has to face it. Nonetheless, it's pretty hard to give up something you've been waiting for for so long. What we've noticed in ourselves and in others is that sometimes we simply forget to go with the flow and do something spontaneously, just without greater efforts put in it, just simply do it and have fun. So just in case you also deal with such issues, always remember to make this particular moment the best one ever, because time flies and with every second a little bit of you is gone. Time is precious, so don't waste it, because you won't get it back. It was just a quick reminder in case you have forgotten! Anyways, food is always good and it helps every single time. Healthy eating, active life and healthy snacks can make you feel heaps better. That is why this time, we decided to prepare something super quick and endlessly tasty. Banana pancakes (simple)

Hi healthy eaters!
Finally we can feel the summer, although the weather in Poland reminds us rather of April than June. However, it is still possible to bring this lovely season to our hearts and mind. And you probably know our prescription for better mood during these cold days. The answer is... food! Just imagine mornings with hot coffee, favourite book or newspaper and something delicious, light and warm to eat garnished with seasonal fruits. What can it be? Definietly, it should be quick to prepare, because nobody wants to spend long hours preparing breakfast. So here is our proposition, which contains all these conditions, also recommended by our trainer. Buy some fruits and relax while eating these wholesome pancakes.
